Board Certified Psychiatric Mental-Health Nurse Practitioner
Dr. Crystal Allen is a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental-Health Nurse Practitioner in the state of Florida with over 17 years in the medical field. Her career began as an Emergency Department Registered Nurse for several years before she began practicing as a nurse practitioner in the community. She received her Masters and Doctorate Degree from Florida International University. Dr. Allen has also attended the Ecology School of Clinical Shamanism where she participated in a 2-week Immersion Experience in the Dominican Republic.
Dr. Allen treats people who suffer from mental imbalances by incorporating holistic practices, complementary and alternative medications, and psychotherapy, such as mindfulness, plant-based medicine, intuitive Tarot reading, and Oracle Card Reading, as well as day trips to connect with the elements in nature.
Her specialties include culturally appropriate inter-generational trauma care, childhood trauma care, psycho-somatic disorders, and creating personalized treatment plans for high-functioning clients struggling with a wide range of mental imbalances and co-occurring disorders.
